
This is a promotional illustration created by Bonner to promote National Bike Week, the biggest nationwide cycling event in the UK. I think this is really clever as it uses the most recognised logo in London to create a really strong, clear and memorable logo of its own to advertise Bike Week, where roads were closed to cars, in order to get people out on there bikes on the streets of London. Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London was a big supporter of this campaign.
Thats a great ad.
ReplyDeleteThe use of the underground logo is very clever and suggests a clear message that you should ride your bike instead of using the underground.
I love advertising which takes old recognisable designs and changes them to fit to a new campaign
